Innereo and Linecheck present DeepSoundMe Hackathon
Innereo, in collaboration with Linecheck and Music Innovation Hub, launches its music Hackathon: a call for eight producers, musicians and composers ready to experiment with the intersection of music, technology and human emotions.
The initiative aims to design and produce original audio tracks for DeepSoundMe, a tool conceived and developed by Innereo that can perceive emotional states and generate sounds to enhance mental and physical well-being. The winning track will become part of DeepSoundMe’s official library of original compositions, expanding its catalogue.
DEADLINE: October 17
The process will take place across several stages:
- 20 & 23 October (16:00-18:00) – Online Meetings
Introductory sessions and specialized training on how to create sound packages dedicated to well-being.
- 3 November – Hackathon Day at La Capsula, Milan*
A full day of collaborative creation dedicated to developing original tracks.
- 17-22 November – Panel & Presentation at Linecheck
Public announcement of the winner and presentation of the final works during an international panel focused on best practices in music therapy.
The Hackathon will be supervised by Pier Paolo Polcari, co-founder of the band Almamegretta and an internationally renowned composer. Under his guidance, participants will be evaluated by a jury of experts including Uria Fiano (Strategy Advisor), Raffaella Foglieri (Innovation Strategy Consultant; Assistant Professor/Researcher in AI at the University of Milan), Paul Arnold (Media Composer), Claudio Vittori (Sound Artist; Founder & Creative Director of Flower of Sound) and Lorenzo Pochetti (Booking Manager, Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival).
Participating in the DeepSoundMe Hackathon means becoming part of a creative community where experimentation meets purpose. It’s an opportunity to explore innovative techniques in music composition for well-being, to exchange ideas with other talented producers and composers and to gain visibility within Linecheck, one of Europe’s leading platforms for music and innovation.
