Announcing Germany as Guest Country for LINECHECK 2021

We’re glad to announce Germany as guest country for our 2021 edition, which will take place from 23 to 25 November 2021 at Milan’s hybrid center for culture and creativity BASE (Italy) and in live streaming at linecheck.it


Linecheck 2021 will explore new music trends and economics, as well as highlighting the diversity of musical talent in Germany, in collaboration with the German Consulate General Milan, Germany’s funding and music export office Initiative Musik, Goethe-Institut Milan and AHK Italien (German-Italian Chamber of Commerce).

🔵 Linecheck Meeting 🔵 featured speakers

Linecheck will feature panel discussions with German music industry executives, over thirty delegates will join the previously announced speakers to explore – through this year’s main theme #Reverse – the present and future of the music industry, its trends and economics with a view to push collective innovation outside the conventional framework.

Among others, German delegation will include in alphabetical order: Aida Baghernejad (Journalist and freelance researcher), Anton Teichmann (Co-founder, A-Okay Management), Francis Gay (Head of Music, WDR Cosmo), Horst Weidenmüller (CEO, !K7 Music), Ilana Goldstoff (Sync & Licensing Manager Central Europe, Deutsche Grammophon), Marie Fol (Project Manager, Keychange), Odile Limpach (Co-founder, Spielfabrique), Simone Dudt (Secretary General, European Music Council), Simone Lippold (Head of Innovation Development, Börsenverein Group), Stefan Reichmann (Founder, Haldern Pop, Germany and Kaltern Pop, Italy).

Alongside the German delegation, Linecheck announces the second waves of speakers, which includes in alphabetical order: Andrea Rosi (CEO and President, Sony Music Entertainment Italy), Carlos Solana (Digital Business & Innovation Lead, Mediapro, Spain), David McGinnis (Managing Director, Mute Song, UK), Elise Phamgia (General Coordinator, Liveurope, Belgium), Francesca Trainini (Chair at Impala, Vice President at PMI, MD at peermusic Italy, VP of the Italian Music Publishing Association), Gerrit Kerremans (Head of Music, VRT, Belgio), Helienne Lindvall (Board Director at The Ivors Academy and Board Director at BASCA, the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors, UK), Lauent Marceau (Head of Eurosonic, EBU, France), Matthew Rankin (Manager, Nonesuch Records, UK), Melissa Mongiat (Co-founder, Daily tous les jours, Canada), Steve Mayall (Managing Director and Co-founder, Music Ally, UK), William Larnach-Jones (MD and Head of Bookings, Iceland Airwaves, Iceland).

🔴 Linecheck Festival 🔴 featured artists

A #Reverse innovation will also be at the centre of the music showcase, with adding three newly confirmed German artists for Linecheck Festival: Berlin based DIY Pop and R&B singer and songwriter DENA – selected by Keychange development program, while Warm Graves will perform from Berlin to present their upcoming single, out in November and taken from their upcoming album due in 2022, and German-Italian rapper Pufuleti, will perform from Hamburg on the opening night.
