Amira Morstaq Ali began her professional career when she was 19, at Sofar Sounds Oslo, after observing the music industry from the brothers' point of view for years. She has been a DJ, songwriter, and backup singer for several Norwegian artists and is also known for creating her own club concepts with a focus on urban garage music and creating a safe space for and POCs (people of color) in her hometown. Oslo, Norway. After, among other things, having an internship at JM Norway, she started to freelance as a manager & booking agent for several companies and PR & Marketing Manager for Midl Management.
She currently works as a music journalist at NRK ( Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation), songwriter, diversity consultant for Music Norway, and is one of the delegates in the Keychange EU program (as an innovator) & Oslo World Festival.
